What is the Test Schedule for GATE?

The GATE Test Schedule includes regular tests and the All India Mock Test Series (AIMTS) to systematically prepare students and assess their readiness.


General Test Details

1.    Chapter Tests:

○    Available throughout the year and can be accessed on the LMS portal once the corresponding chapter is completed.

2.    Subject Tests:

○    Available in three formats:

■    Basic Subject Tests (BST): Focus on fundamental concepts.

■    Advanced Subject Tests (AST): Cover in-depth and advanced topics.

■    Multiple Subject Tests (MST): Combine multiple subjects for comprehensive assessment.

3.    All India Mock Tests (AIMTS):

○    These simulate the real GATE exam environment and provide a competitive edge.

AIMTS Schedule Update – GATE 2027

We will be launching the AIMTS (All India Mock Test Series) for GATE 2027 on the IMS 3.0 platform in the month of September.

The detailed schedule and mock test dates will be shared shortly.

Important Notes

●      Validity: All AIMTS tests are valid until 28 February 2026 to provide ample time for revisions and retakes.

●      Access: All tests, including chapter tests, subject tests are available on the IMS 3.0 Portal under the “Test Series” section.

●      AIMTS:  are available on the IMS 3.0 Portal under the “Test” section.

●      Timetable: Always check the class timetable and IMS 3.0 portal for updates to ensure you don’t miss any scheduled tests.
